The 75th Anniversary Bejeweled Gala
The Arc New York is celebrating 75 years of service to our mission of providing people with intellectual, developmental, and other disabilities with ordinary and extraordinary opportunities of life.
On Friday, October 25, at the Hall of Springs in Saratoga, The Arc New York will host the 75th Anniversary Bejeweled Gala to celebrate and commemorate our shared journey and celebrate our progress.
The celebratory event will feature a sit-down dinner, champagne toast, live music, dancing, silent auction, portraits of people we support, an inspiring keynote from Broadway actor Mickey Rowe and more!
Gala Happenings
Hall of Springs
The Hall of Springs is a historic, world-renowned venue located within the picturesque Saratoga Spa State Park. The magnificent interior features a 38-foot vaulted ceiling, Italian marble floors, and three original grand chandeliers made of Belgian crystal.
Menu & Cocktail Hour
Mazzone Hospitality will be catering The 75th Anniversary Gala with a diverse menu of delectable food that will make guests savor every bite. Mazzone’s chefs are culinary connoisseurs who have devoted their lives to perfecting their craft and preparing food that looks as good as it tastes. There will be a cocktail hour before dinner, sponsored by our friends at USI Insurance.
Mickey Rowe
Keynote speaker Mickey Rowe is an autistic and legally blind author of the award-winning book Fearlessly Different: An Autistic Actor’s Journey to Broadway’s Biggest Stage and the first autistic actor to play the lead role in the play The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. The keynote speaker is sponsored by O’Connell & Aronowitz.
New York Players
New York Players are New York’s Dance Party Experts! This band is an entertainment powerhouse that can do it all, from Top 40, Rock, R&B, and Motown Party-Dance Tunes to Country and Swing! Their main goal is to keep the dance floor packed all night long! The band is sponsored by Travelers Insurance.
Portrait Project
The Arc New York’s Portrait Project, sponsored by NYSID (New York State Industries for the Disabled, Inc.), captures the individuality of 75 people we support, their interests, achievements, and
aspirations.
Silent Auction
We will be hosting a silent auction during the gala. Auction items up for bid will be from our Chapters. These will be unique items, crafted with care, that you won’t find anywhere else!
