Scholarships & Awards
Each year, The Arc New York presents scholarships and awards to individuals pursuing degrees in special education, physical or occupational therapy, or a field related to intellectual or other developmental disabilities, and those who go above and beyond to improve this field.
Jonathan Weingold Scholarship
Four scholarships in the amount of $3,000 are presented annually to full-time Chapter employees who are furthering their education with the intention of contributing to the field of intellectual or developmental disabilities.

Arthur Pense Scholarship
Two scholarships in the amount of $3,000 are presented annually to students furthering their education in a field related to nursing, or physical or occupational therapy.
Deadline: Friday, February 12, 2027
Joseph T Weingold Scholarship
Two scholarships in the amount of $3,000 are presented annually to students accepted or enrolled into a program leading to a special education certification or degree.

James F. Reville Scholarship
Two scholarships in the amount of $3,000 are presented annually to students accepted or enrolled into a full-time education program related to intellectual or other developmental disabilities.
