The Arc New York is aggressively advocating for New York State to reverse years of underfunding and invest in services and supports for its citizens with I/DD.
We are calling on state leaders to include the following requests in the 2045-25 New York State Budget:
- A 3.2% Cost of Living Adjustment to help compensate for rising costs due to inflation, and
- A Direct Support Wage Enhancement to provide permanent increases for DSP wages and help stabilize our Workforce
